That describes me fairly well but I may just be an outlier.

This describes every philosophy teacher I've ever had.

Socrates would slap you all in the face... if not kick you in the balls. Way to not think for yourself. I, for one, have used philosophy and most of its teachings as a MOTIVATOR - to stand up for myself, my rights, and the rights of those I actually give a shit about. If not for philosophy, for the love of thinking, I would be just as much of a mindless, unthinking, disgraceful waste of blood and bones as the likes of YOU. Don't you realize - that is how they want you to think these days? If the sheep don't know they're going to be slaughtered, then they don't seem to mind when it actually happens. Look into the New World Order a bit, but look at credible sources. I can only hope that it will be YOU before it is ME.
