When Trouble Arises
after a line from
Dave Barry Turns 50
i value more the mystical reasons of the heart than the analytical reasons of the mind, because the mind has no heart but the heart has its own mind...

There are things in life that doesn't need an explanation and are best left unsaid.to define life in its truest and deepest sense, let life explains itself.

To elevate the quality of living,we must take life seriously in a non-serious way,no other way.

anonymous: You're confusing "having its own mind" with "being myogenic"... wil bong panganiban: 1- *explain itself 2-.....

Actually the heart is ran by the brain, even emotional strengths come from the brain, the heart is simply a pump in which blood is circulated.

Its saying alot, considering what your brain makes on a daily basis. The basis for many drugs, emotions, adrenals, growth, basically an array of insane things to understand. While the heart is constantly monitored the whole time.

@ anonymous: false, the heart merely pumps blood through your body, if you were to replace your brain with a heart you'd be more like a comatose idiot than a mystical ball of love and reason. The brain takes care of my neurological processes just fine.

@sherbert: It's curious how your comment just goes to prove what anonymous was trying to say. I do agree, if we had a heart for a brain, we would be comatose. If physiology had anything to do with anon's comment, that is. Your response is purely analytic, while his is more "hearty".

So many literalists here. Where is the poetry in your lives? Hey, wil bong panganiban, you asked for a definition of life. Life is a sexually transmitted condition with a 100% mortality rate. (Those who want to tell me about in vitro fertilization and 'the after life' can keep it to themselves!)

An example. Was Einstein not an intellectual? And yet as fact loving as he was, even he could understand the metaphorical sense of a heart. It's knowing what both the brain and the heart are used for physically and what both symbolize in a more personable way. To only mention that the heart is a pulsating organ is being a bit of an ignorant way to look at it...although ill assume most of you who see it in this way do it out of blatant cynicality. It is the fact that it's the paragram of your being. Its in the middle of all things, and although you do not process your thoughts through said organ, it is merely a symbol of the more artistic and left sided folk. If you truly cannot see it in such a way, then you yourself are not using both sides of the brain you're so attached to.
