Inter-Universe Communication via the "GravityPhone"

7/25/2007
physicist Brian Greene points out that within M-theory
communication between parallel universes is possible

possible because gravity is not confined to the
membrane a universe inhabits

therefore, a single strong gravity wave can be felt in
parallel universes that inhabit separate membranes

Greene puts it this way,

If we do live on a membrane, and there are parallel
universes on other membranes near us; we may never
see them, but perhaps one day we can feel them,
through gravity.

in the video below, Greene describes the concepts
of membranes and gravitons as they relate within
M-theory;

and he shows us what inter-universe communication
may one day look like by picking up a GravityPhone
and chatting with a buddy from another membrane

the above video is a brief excerpt from NOVA's
The Elegant Universe, it can be seen in full here
